I’ve invited Justin Lindsey back for another great discussion and deep dive into his experience using Facebook Live. We’ve both found that agents either don’t know enough about Facebook Live or are very hesitant to give it a shot. Justin Lindsey is a real estate agent currently based out of St. Louis, who got his start in Destin, Florida. Using his intuition and the accessibility of the Facebook platform, Justin started up a Coffee Chat Facebook Live program that has helped to further his relationships with his customers and grow his business.
A lot of agents out there might be wary of such a channel because they worry about coming off unfiltered, unprofessional, or unengaged. But in fact, it’s just the opposite. Facebook Live is a platform to showcase the real you, as if you were talking with a client, face-to-face. Justin walks us through his mentality when talking daily on Facebook Live, how he goes about preparing his content, and why he started the channel.
It may not be easy to directly relate conversions to the content you are putting out on the channel, but over time, you are building relationships, which is the key to a successful real estate business. Facebook should be seen as an imperative distribution channel for telling your story. This is a great episode for anyone looking for a new way to tout their real estate “brand.” We talk through some great ideas for starting up your own Facebook Live programs, as well as ways to connect deeper within your own community.
